Hey guys,
Took apart a Neptune TL I got for $50 last week. Here is a pic of what’s left of the clutch. There is a lot of rust on the clutch where if mounts to the tub.

May be the tub seal is leaking.  That effectively condemns it unless you want to foot the cost and effort of repair.  :-(

Bearings

It seems the tub bearings have gone also. I can’t seem to find just the tub bearing itself. Does anyone know if the bearing is NLA or if it comes with something else that I’m just not seeing lol.

The bearing(s) presumably are included with a replacement outer tub.  Perhaps disassembly and examination would find industry-standard bearings that could be sourced.

The drive shaft is part of the spinner (basket) support.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to reapir this unit. I sent it off to washer heaven. I did save the motor and belt just in case my other TL needs it.

With Bad Main Bearings, if the machine is still around save the complete control panel, inlet valve, motor board, drain pump and lid locks if you get one of these washers in the future or want to help out someone else.

Maybe also the tub displacement strut (left front corner)?

And the tumbler transmission which is NLA per parts listings (although disassembly is required to get to it)?

Parts

Sadly the machine is already gone. I did save just the motor and the belt. I tried getting the board out and I couldn't get it apart, so I just tossed everything else. I wish I would have thought to save the control panel. I do still have the other unit that is working perfectly.
