I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I have a 1990 (based on decoding the model #) Eaton Viking dryer, that goes along with the 1989(?) washer (GE) I posted about earlier.
This dryer is also GE.
I had some minor power issues and the interior light bulb burned out.
The local parts place, Reliable Parts, can get me a replacement but not quite right.
The replacement has a screw-in base, and mine is a push-and-turn style with pegs on the base similar to an automotive bulb.
The only information reliable has is for the screw-in.
Does anyone know where I can get either a push-and-turn bulb, or possibly an entire screw-in socket that I can swap for the current socket?

I'm thinking it is a type common in vacume cleaners and sewing machines-15 or 25 watt IIRC.

you could also, if possible, replace the socket to a screw in one if locating a bulb proves to be difficult...

but as mentioned, those types of bulbs can be found at a sewing/vacuum shop....or even at Lowes....

I never thought of checking sewing machine and vacuum repair shops.
Thank you both for your advice.
I did think about changing the socket to a screw-in type, but those also seem tough to locate.
Thanks again.

Ace Hardware, or Tru-Value both usually carry them.
