I have a mid 1990s gas GE range with sealed burners that has one burner that will no longer light. I would really like to repair it since the holidays are coming and I often use all of the burners.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Clogged orifice or bad gas valve.

Can you light it manually, with a match?

Nope, it won’t light by match. if I recall right before it broke it was weaker flame than the others. Also you cannot lift the top of this stove like the old ones.
