This is the Whirlpool washer that my Dad bought for my Mom just before he died in 1962. We used it until 1969 when it was replaced by a Maytag Wringer Model E, because we needed to conserve water because we were on a well. I remember we used to use a dinner fork to clean the lint out of the filter brush.

Maytag Dutch Oven Ranges I have the cookbook for one of these and the recipes are awesome! Chambers stoves were made to cook with the gas off too! This was an expensive stove to produce I wonder how well they worked? Having controls in the backsplash of a gas stove was not usually done | ||
