I like how these look!
How would this washer compare to our Raytheon Amana washer? (Speed Queen twin)
I know that some here consider the Raytheon to be junk, but ours has been so good for the 8+ years that we've owned it.
About what year is this pair?

They look like 80's machines, and appear very clean on the outside,at least.
I always thought this vintage was a good , if noisy , performer. I'm sure Kenny can tell you more than I can, though.

I would guess around 1987/88. Not long after, the Amanas were featured with back opening lids like Speed Queens IIRC correctly.

Noisy, yes, as well as middling in the Consumer Reports reviews...

My aunt had these in her ‘80’s era appliance stage (replacing a Whirlpool set of the previous decade I only remember seeing a crushed washer box for, than any actual machines), a Maytag washer, probably later accompanied by a matching dryer took over in the ‘90’s...

Hard to say about performance. Seems like everyone I got off the trade in piles had bad bearings, and leaks.
