They look like 80's machines, and appear very clean on the outside,at least. I always thought this vintage was a good , if noisy , performer. I'm sure Kenny can tell you more than I can,though. |

I would guess around 1987/88. Not long after, the Amanas were featured with back opening lids like Speed Queens IIRC correctly. |

Noisy, yes, as well as middling in the Consumer Reports reviews...
My aunt had these in her ‘80’s era appliance stage (replacing a Whirlpool set of the previous decade I only remember seeing a crushed washer box for, than any actual machines), a Maytag washer, probably later accompanied by a matching dryer took over in the ‘90’s... — Dave |
