Hi, I've just stumbled across this forum and am genuinely surprised at the wealth of useful info. relating to these machines!

I bought my Servis Quartz Plus back in 1988 (the days when Magaret Thatcher was encouraging us to 'buy British' :)). It's had a few repairs; door seal replaced about three times and a new (well, second hand) spider and drum fitted around 10 years ago. Apart from that, it's a solid machine that just keeps on running! However, it does require a replacement set of wheels - the originals have seized and the rubber 'tyres' have long since perished and fallen off. Whilst I accept these parts will now be obsolete, I was wondering if there are wheels from a different model/brand that will fit - any ideas?

I don't know about Servis, but I have a vague memory of reading that Hoover once made an option of adjustable feet on export machines to the continent. I imagine that would have involved rivets etc at the point of manufacture. I don't know if they were retrofitable though.

Thanks Rolls_rapids and chestermikeuk for your prompt responses. I’ll tip the machine over later this week, measure one of the wheels and follow up chestermikeuk’s link to see if there’s anything available. I’ll keep you posted.
