Not sure if this is a good price.
The machine reminds me of the one Harley and Spats recently acquired.
Not exactly the same, but looks nice.

Completely different:

Than SpatsBear's machine. That is a 1978 Belt Drive with a Penta-Swirl agitator. The machine above is a 1989-90 Direct Drive machine with Dual-Action agitator. Both machines have many strong points and very little flaws but are 100% different mechanically. $75-100 would be a fair price for this machine unless very low miles. You are right, these are VERY nice machines that do a great job and need very little repairs.

That's interesting.
They look similar enough that I would have expected them to be closer in age.
So...if this one is direct drive; that means no woo-woo?
My mom always had belt drive Whirlpools when I was a kid.
I really appreciate the sound of them!

Sorry no Woo-Woos in a DD

I love the sound of BD WP/KM's too. These make a slight knocking sound from the transmission and a bit of motor hum.

While the BD machines are fantastic machines you would be very happy with this superbly designed DD as well.
