I'm sure many are getting bored with my posts about the A407! After this, I'll call it quits. But I've had a LOT of fun working on this project! Many of you have been great to help with problem solving. Thank you for the excellent advice!
I've made a few videos and posted them to Youtube. Please forgive my amateurish videography skills! I think I have all the issues finally resolved and the A407 is operating as it should.
First up will be full load of heavy towels, a pair of jeans, and some heavy cotton bath mats with the turquoise "shark fin" agitator.
The second will be the same load as above but with the Load Sensor agitator.
The third video is a load of mostly cotton t-shirts on the Permanent Press cycle.
Tomorrow, I'll upload a video doing whites and I may run a load of sheets on the PP cycle.
Thanks and please share your thoughts and advice!

Thanks for the videos, Bill.
I'm guessing that the load sensing agitator is similar to the Kenmore dual action? At first, I was a little concerned about the sound it makes, but I got to kind of like it after a bit. Both agitators seemed to do a decent job turning over the large load. And I enjoy the explanations/narration. It's almost like being there! Barry |
