My vintage WP DW had a quarter sized rust spot in the left rear corner.  It gets very little  use.  I came across  some Rerack a while back and bought it.  Wondering if it's worth putting a number of coats on the spot to help preserve the tub.  I know it's not ideal, and there are more involved and permanent repairs, but I'm wondering if "something" is better that "nothing"....

I only use this DW once or twice a year, but feel I want to maintain it the best I can without going overboard.
