Would consider swapping out the GE MM for one of these KA dishwashers in a moment, but they don't heat the wash water.

While one would love to have a front loading DW again, even the limited heating of the GE is of some use as opposed to nothing at all.

I had the Regency Model.

Top Performance on Just 120-130 degree water. They are very Powerful yet Gentle. I used to put my Reidel Wine Glasses in the Bottom Rack (as a matter fact all my KA Hobart Machines) and not one ever broke. Just left enough space so they wouldn't strike each other or anything else...

The Chamber rusted through and just didn't want to fix it as I had too many machines at the time.

By the time it get through the first two Rinses... the Main Wash dishes are pretty warm to hot and with some Cascade Powder everything always came out spotless.

It's very tempting.

I had an Avocado deluxe model just like that back in the day.. It did an excellent job even with just one bottom spray arm.. and the fan forced drying was nice. I sold it when we bought our first house that had a built in but cheap WP.. Should have kept it.
