I'm sure this has been covered but I am looking for a couple quick suggestions on who or what company you'd recommend to ship a washer from St. Louis to Oregon.

Many thanks in advance.

I used YRC to ship a very heavy engine block and related parts from N.J. to Texas earlier this year.

I did their online quote and the price was hard to believe, well under $200 and they picked up the loaded pallet at my house with a lift gate truck.

there is also:

youcrate.com

gotmovers.com

freightcenter.com

the price of gas and tolls is what varies the rates at times....warehouse to warehouse can be a bit cheaper for some versus curbside to curbside...

but you have to compare what it would cost for a road trip to do it yourself....

CitizenShipper.com worked really well for me , and you decide what bidder works they bid on your behalf and you work on a fair price

Shipping

I have used Transit systems many times and have been very happy with them.Usually around $650 but they wrap it and bring it in one piece.
