I have one NIB. Part # is 204454. Are you sure you need a timer? what is wrong with the washer?

During the last spin cycle it started to drain right before it went to spin and it stopped all of a sudden I waited around and it never went back to finish the cycle and the tub never drained.so I stopped it and turned the dial to rinse and spin again and it finally worked.

Sounds like what my A407 would do in the first spin cycle after 30 seconds 50% of the time. Would shut off like the power was cut and wouldnt restart. If I tapped the timer knob it would restart and be fine the rest of the wash. Turned out to be a burned contact in the timer and I had to find a used timer to cure it.

I ran it again last night through a full cycle and it didn't quit this time. I might buy a timer how much do they go for?

Try this first. When the washer stops in the middle of a cycle, jiggle the timer know to see if you can get it going again. Does it go completely dead, or can you hear the timer motor whirring, but no motor sound? The timer is $75.00 plus shipping. Let me know, but try this first.

Another thought....try the permanent press cycle to see if it completes the cycle. The pp cycle does have a pause at the "cooldown" phase after the wash and during the partial drain. Then refills with cold water, agitates and drains and spin normally. Then rinse fill and spin to complete the cycle.

the timer was still making that whirring sound when the washer cut out and did not drain all the water and spin. the timer went on almost to the end of the wash cycle without anything happening so I stopped it turned the dial back to the spin cycle to hopefully drain all that water in the tub it took a couple times to finally drain again and go into spin. I will try this tip you suggest anything to help me out I'd really hate to junk this washer .thank y
