Dear folks not sure if anyone can help me here but I need to replace the bearings on the spinner as they are at the end of their life !!!! I have done a fair few restores but for the life of me I carnt even work how to take the machine apart !!!!! Does anyone have any ideas how to do it or a diagram . It’s made in west Germany and looks a little more complicated than anything I’ve done before !!!! Many thanks Darren

Hello

At least one member IIRC has same or similar AEG Lavalux, but may not see your message.

There is a European FB group where many of the vintage appliance hobbyists hang out; you might want to post your query there as well to see if gets attention.

This and or try contacting above member via his YT page.

Good luck!

Hi Darren,
I have two Lavalux’s one with the blue spinner drum & one with the copper drum.
From what i remember the machine is in panels. The top is bolted down the the main frame. Changing the bearings could be interesting, not a fan of changing them on any machine.
Good luck 👍
Keith
