.
Someone posted this HOOVER “Air Revolve” closeout on Vacuumland, and I just ordered one myself for $34.99 plus tax, shipping is free.
If you order two it knocks $7.00 from the total. (Click on bottom link)
This vacuum was only sold in this country for a short while and now is apparently discontinued.
I love NIB vacuums and this one will stay that way probably as long as I have it.
It copies a vacuum from the 50’s, the GE Roll Easy...a “holy grail” vintage vacuum find for many collectors. There was also a Westinghouse knock off around the same time but i’ll let someone else post about that..

Here someone scored an original GE Roll-Easy for $6.00, nice!

does the hoover have a power brush roll or is it turbo driven by the air?  My Kirbys are too heavy for Tony to use now since he was injured last year so looking for something lighter that will do the job for when he feels like using it.  I'll stick with the kirby for myself.

Seems it's sold here as Vax

The Hoover has a powered floor brush.

Seems identical to the Vax model above as they're all Techtronic Industries these days.
Hoover in Europe was sold to Candy of Italy which was recently acquired by Haier.

That vacuum doesn't get very good reviews btw, the cyclone seems very ineffective and all the dirt ends up being caught by the filter.

They do some nice looking machines, but they're very much cheap-end-of-market.

well what exactly were you expecting for 34.99?....in fact, where was it found for that price?

if it fits your needs, and performs to your liking....screw the reviews...what the heck do they know....

I read most reviews with a grain of salt, as they are staged and recreated to simulate no so real conditions....

the best review is, take one home, and see how it performs for you, yet someone else may get a different reaction....

Air Revolve

Hey all,

I caved and bought one (or more) because of the ridiculous low price.
I'm not a fan of new plastic vacuums, or bagless vacuums, and this one is both.
That being said, I don't hate it.
I saw the terrible reviews on Amazon, so I wasn't expecting much.

I've only used it once so far, but I didn't find it horrible.
It's not too loud. The power nozzle and horse hair bare floor tool performed fine.
Suction seems decent.

Being, as I said, not a fan of bagless vacuums, I don't enjoy emptying the dirt cup.
But, I didn't buy this to be a daily driver anyway.
I think it could be fun to play with once in a while.

If you're at all interested, I'd say go for it.
For the price, if you end up hating it, donate it to Goodwill or something.

Barry

Looks like they're sold out

Vacuumland members are probably already aware.
The website reduced the price on this vacuum to $9.50!
It now says they're out of stock.
We were jazzed about getting them for $34.99, and later, $25.00!
And, if I'm not mistaken, even at $9.50, shipping was free!
