A friend is renovating his mothers house and would like to see this go to someone rather than getting scrapped.

Who would have manufactured this for Sears?

A product of Roper.

I had told him it may be a Roper product but wasn't sure.

My 1995 Whirlpool looks quite the same from the cooktop to the chrome edge guards to the dials (mine are white). All the books with it said Whirlpool, but the installation booklet said Amana. It still works fine.

Try late 60s,,

Might be as old as 67 or so. Good range.

Definately before 1971.

'71 Kenmore's had a chrome gas knob panel, black console glass, and the textured chrome top end caps were gone. The top also had more of a curve around to the front. Continuous cleaning oven as well with removable liners on mid and up level models.
