was recently given this front load washer-giver said it gives E3 code-no tach signal from motor-has BLDC direct drive motor-set machine to spin and it did spin at a lowish RPM without displaying error code. After machine thaws enough for a proper "wet"run will se what happens :)BTW bearings are good with good drum runnout.Motor wiring /plugs is the first place I will look if fault code comes up.Iam not real keen on Korean imports, but this one will get 2nd life with someone else if an easy fix :)

...wiring harness-tried a wet run and wash rotation was erratic and jerky, eventually set E3 code and when set to spin did rotate at lower speed but would hiccup and jerk when harness tugged :) Harness placement is bad design on this machine IMO-comes up off the base straight up to the outer with plenty of flexing over a short distance-will correct that situation when harness repair done:)
got around to completing the wiring harness repair-2 wires were broken in the black-sheathed cable from rotor position sensor-operation back to normal after repair. My little 24" GE was either built or designed by Samsung as many parts and details are the same between the two machines.
