Fresh out of an old Hardware store circa 1960s MID CENTURY new old stock Oven Hoods. $250 EACH. No ductwork required and they have a light and fan. They are pre sized to fit right into you retro kitchen. The mounting area is 36"W x 12"D x 6H. Overall depth is 19". These babies are brand new old stock in excellent vintage condition. TIME CAPSULES AND AN AMAZING FIND! Replace that old worn out oven hood and upgrade your retro kitchen. We have several in retro colors- Avocado, White and Blended Coopertone. I bet they would...nib Nutones or Ventahoods maybe, but not those off brand things, they didn't cost 49.00 new I bet.

You rarely see

Vent A Hoods, TOL NuTones, and Trade Winds any more, I am always looking.

These are neat looking, but I notice most of them are non vented. I always thought non vented hoods aren't much use because they return odors and grease to the air. But of course in some situations, where there is no duct or way to add one, they make sense.

Was a Nautilus with a big charcoal filter, but personally I wont have one that's not vented.

I'm not saying they are worth $250... but $50 in 1968 is/was equivalent to $350+ today when you account for inflation...
