Sounds like the dryer needs a new element

Wow!

I do believe these are Toast - a very rare pair.  Especially for $60.

Toast, that's the color I was thinking of but all I could come up with was Wheat, which these are not.

What a neat, unusual color!
I don't think I've ever seen that color before.

Belt Drive?

Is that a Belt Drive washer?

direct drive...…this was the last of this color, and also when they started to offer monochromatic styling

1987 to 1990ish.....give or take...

a "Lady Kenmore" in fact...Ultra Fabric Care.....with cycle modifiers(soak, wash, ex rinse), triple dispenser, and most likely a 3 speed...light above the timer....

offering Auto Temp controlled, boosting temps up, not down....as well as manual selections of temps....

huge capacity dryer.....variable temps, most likely just 4(air, low, med, high)….up front filter and light....

both in a 27" cabinet.....

That washer is the one I've been looking for to match my dryer, except in almond. It is in fact a 3 speed unit. 1990 Model 110.920937X0. I know these monochromatic machines very keenly. The 3 speed is the first one of that production period to have the suds return located at the last 2 minutes of the regular wash cycle.

This is indeed a rare set, being in toast color, I actually wonder what few others are out there.
