Thrift store find. GE P11FP4
My hoover died and have been looking for a replacement.

Found this today.. It runs, but is really nasty, moldy smelling under the brushes.

How do I get these brushes off? Any help is appreciated.

Sorry about the fuzzy pics.

Try twisting them off in theopposite direction they turn. Many of those floor machines had "bayonet" lock attachments.

On my old Hoover Floor-a-Matic, they have to be first pushed into the base of the machine, then twisted in the opposite direction in which they rotate.
