Dyson sued against the EU energy label requirements for vacuum cleaners and actually won, a few months back.
And since there was no repeal application submitted by the EU comittee in time there will be several months where the paragraphs are no longer valid.
Everybody knows why Dyson did this (they somehow were incapable of creating an AAAA machine or even close to something that would be somewhat competitive and thus lost huge market share) so it is surprising to me the repeal didn't happen.
But EU representatives said that currently some other appliance rating standards were being overhauled and thus they would probably just rewrite these paragraphs on the side.
