Pretty neat way to put color on newer appliances.  I don't really crave the 'Cardinal Red' pair, but it's a cool solution around the monochromatic factory offerings.

The modern appliance shopper would probably call that color ‘sage’ rather than avocado, despite there not being much of a difference lol. I’ve also seen things called ‘guacamole’ green and had a bit of a chuckle, as long as we don’t call it avocado like Aunt Susan’s kitchen, right? I’ve wanted to do this with a few appliances but haven’t due to being unsure of how it would actually turn out. I have painted furniture (never a gorgeous, old wood finish, only things that were cheap and awful to begin with or already sporting a painted finish) and I’m really good at it but plastic and metal I think would be less forgiving than wood. I also wonder about paint adherence and the durability of the finish.

Almost all the avocado you see is shaded. I think that's what's making those look different...sort of a "dipped" look.
