Doesn't always work. Hmmm. It's a survivor..most of these old Litton MW ovens like this are probably now in scrap heaven...1980's ?

I grew up with a Litton Meal-In-One Model 540 that was very similar to this one.  We got it in 1978.  I always liked the door open release at the top.  I think it lasted around 24 years before the control panel went haywire.

My aunt (of the 1969 SQ pair) had the first microwave in the family, this model circa 1977 or 1978.  We got a Whirlpool in 1979.

My first microwave was the Model 510 (mechanical controls).  I got it in 1978 and it lasted almost 20 years under extremely heavy use.  It's the best-performing, most evenly cooking microwave I've ever had.

My FIL sold his lake cottage last October. There was one of those in the basement that Grampa bought new. We ended up scrapping it.

Radarange as well

Have been seeing that same ad for about 10 years now off and on. Same statement of not consistently working on a radarange and an ac or 2. Seems strange to advertise like that, almost like its a code or secret message which fits illinois well..

Have inquired on the radarange, which took many weeks for a response.
