Consumers Reports reviewed stuff like Panasonic dishwashers and Caloric refrigerators, of which were probably rarely actually seen...

Interesting, I did not know Caloric was connected to WCI. I thought they were part of Amana/Whirlpool.

I am curious about the early '90s Panasonic lineup...they decided to get into North American whitegoods for a hot minute and I've always been curious about where they sourced stuff. I recall vaguely seeing a solid element electric stove, and thought I'd heard that they used mostly Canadian (WCI/Camco) manufacturers.
