A while ago, I had bought a KitchenAid Blender on eBay (white, UltraPower). What I didn't realize until I got it was there was a missing blade gasket. So I looked on eBay and bought one. It fit, works fine, but every time I use it I get little pepper like specs in whatever I'm mixing.

The gasket is a black rubber and apparently sheds a lot of specs of black.

I should have gotten a genuine Whirlpool part which is made of smooth clear rubber, but I just haven't gotten around to ordering one yet.

The part I bought appears to be generic since it didn't come in any packaging or have any labeling when I got it.
