Regionality??
I have an excellent memory for vintage appliances and I would always make note of who had what when I was growing up. I swear that I never saw any of these beautiful Whirlpool dishwashers in or around New York City in the Sixties. Saw lots of KitchenAids, Kenmores, fewer GE's, some Hotpoints and some Waste Kings, but never a Whirlpool,especially one with a telephone-dial control.Where were these hiding?

I was bidding on it
But dropped out at $400, the DW is still installed, I talked to the owner and offered to remove it if I won the bidding.
It may be very difficult to remove because the owner installed a thick wood floor in front of it, so good luck getting it out in one piece without damaging the DW or the floor. John L. | ||
