So I drove by the local place where we throw old appliances away and was very excited to see this standing out there. That was until I went up and got a closer look. It was pretty beat up the microwave looked like it was frying it self and all the wiring has been removed. Although the guy who owns the place said he has it if I wanted it.

Interestingly, it appears three of the burners are thermostatically controlled, while one doesn't have the degrees marked.

Yeah. It would be pointless to get it. All I would do with it would be just to put it out back with the rest of my junk. I thought it was really cool looking though. Sitting in the same junkyard is a similar version although I didn’t walk over and look at it. (I don’t know why?) It is Coppertone and I would assume it is a double oven instead of a microwave. But it is shaped different than this one. It is shorter and fatter. I might just run down there and take a look at it sometime and get some pictures. Just wasn’t really the style I was interested in so I didn’t take the time to look it over.

Original MSRP

It had to be expensive, $1500, $1750? Would be shocking in 2019 dollars.
