Many sold here too Hans, but most were the gas on kerosene models. With unreliably on power in the way outskirts around here and the ease of just setting a kerosene burner and staying warm and not messing with wood. You could always tell a kerosene stove walking in just by the stink.

My Grandma in Iowa had a green kerosene stove in the basement for heating the wash boiler and that kerosene smell will always recall that basement.

The units are thin tubes like Chromalox, not thick TK units. I love the 1930s look of it.
