Found a great site for spares in my DE409 search.

These guys are a commercial laundry place in Cherry Hill NJ that has a back stock of parts they no longer need at GREAT prices.

I got some insulators for my heating element - normally $12-20 new, for less than a dollar each! Also a complete new door assembly for a DE409 with plastic and hinges for $29. Got two timer motors (which are made of unobtanium outside of Ebay) brand new in the bag for $25 each.

They have all kinds of brands, Speed Queen, Maytag, etc. If you know your part numbers you can find some great stuff. They were very responsive and shipped fast!

I am not affiliated, just a very happy clearance parts customer.

You're welcome! I was pleasantly surprised with both orders from them. I usually call or email first bc they always want to check their shelves to be sure they have the stuff but so far their inventory has been pretty on-point.

Here is my parts haul from Equipment Marketers. I took a gamble on the drain hose, and to my surprise it's the same thick rubber hose that came on the machine from the factory! All the replacements I've seen are thin rubber, and they kink up way too easily. I also got a new lid, motor switch, rollers(round style) with poly lube, timer dial, and another tub gasket. Prices are awesome!

Thanks for the heads up on the parts site. I also obtained some great new old stock Maytag parts that are no longer available. The customer service is excellent as well.
