I'd love to get a '56 GE set, with the Filter-Flo washer, in turquoise!

My dream is a set of stacked Neptunes, non-digital with an internal water heater. To go with it I'd have a second, non-digital dryer to improve throughput. One dryer would be gas, the other electric. Both the stacked set and the dryer would be mounted on matching, custom made pedestals to allow access without pain.

Second choice would be a Kenmore Series 90 with matching dryer.

I'll take either a Kelvinator "Do all Dial" set or a 1958 super deluxe Norge set. Either set is incredible and so long as we're dreamin'....

In Harvest Gold. Just like Grandma had. Those machines were nearly unbreakable and the washer could clean ANYTHING!

Something offbeat that folks outside this website wouldn't know, TOL Kelvinator from the 50's, a Zenith set making folks think television. Hmm, plenty of great stuff to choose. First year of 1-18's, I could go on and on.....60's Philco with the wobble plate, very different than agitators folks are used to......

Top 3 choices

My first choice would be a '66 or '67 Lady Kenmore in the rare Shaded Slate Blue color. Second would be a '67 Whirlpool in Edged Sapphire Blue, and lastly would be a mid 60's GE model WA-1250 in Turquoise.

Lady Kenmore In Shaded Slate Blue ? , I have seen no evidence they ever made this, WP had it in its line-up, but the color is not listed on any Kenmore parts lists during this time period that I have seen.

GE 950Y washer.   I found the dryer a couple of years ago and it's always been one of my all-time favorite GE styles.

I should mention I've always had a fascination with the Thor washer/dishwasher combo so I'd probably add that as well.

1967-68 Sears Kenmore Concealed Control Set (in Avacado)

Or a 1978 Lady Kenmore Electronic Set (first one with electronic controls)

Or The Mid 1960’s Miele Set that’s on this board

Or a Frigidaire Mid 1960’s Crown Imperial Jet Action Set with Rapidry Spin

I would like an ABC automatic from the 50's. I have the gas dryer to it, just like to have the washer to match.

What a horrible question.....so many to chose from!!!

"1967-68 Sears Kenmore Concealed Control Set (in Avacado)." That would be good. But I wouldn't turn down a '69-70 GE Filter Flo or '74 Wards / Norge either.

Maytag A806 washer and DE806/DG806 dryer set. I have many others, but Maytag is my all time favorite brand, but I do like WP/KM too. A Maytag A806 is my dream set, but the A606 I acquired recently is close enough for me though.

Loved those pushbuttons clustered around the dial. would love them in turquoise, or white, also a mid 60's Frigidaire Set with rapidri, and a flowing heat drier. Both sets with suds savers.

Very rare...

A Westinghouse laundromat model LS-7...I have the dryer, and these units were in production for only about a year..this was also the first slant front to use the slider pulley to change speeds, and it was with a straight slot , not curved...

My favorite laundry pair would be a top of the line GE Americana dispensall washer with programmed wash cycles and the matching 27" gas dryer, I was never a fan of the 30" dryer. My parents had a 1976 avocado dispensall washer with a light up console, it was a great machine, they had a non matching earlier avocado Whirlpool dryer with a hamper door.

My dream set hands down would have to be a 1968 Avocado Whirlpool Mark XII Model LTA 9925 w/ Suds-Miser, and matching electric dryer, all with the faux woodgrain front panels.
