I was visiting shopgoodwill.com (dangerous to do) and stumbled on this Waring blender. We've all be in the position in which you say to yourself "I don't need another thing in the house" but I couldn't resist. It was so unique, I purchased it. Never seen this model before. Tried looking on line but very little information is available. All I could find out is, it's a mid 1960's model.

Here's mine. It came with two jars,, the regular clover leaf and this cockatail shaker type.

Wow, it looks even better with the tall jar with the matching trim.
Whenever I see something like this I always wonder about the designer. It must have been nice to work in an era when there was actually a market for nicely styled middle-of-the-road products. Where as today most things are either Walmart cheap or top-end luxury. | ||
