too bad there isn't more pics of the washer. I've never seen a Kenmore with that style of console on it that was a washer. |

Well, I seemed to have gotten into a Private Message tangent with the seller & even a close-up view of what A, B, C, D, E, and F do, (No Spin Only (D, in place of Permanent Press, Colored) or Enzyme Soak (H)...
I think I'm the handsome man she would like to come over to get, but Morgantown, NC is too far, sorry...

That is my dream washing machine. My grandma had that washer in avocado. |

The neighbors across the street had both the washer and dryer in Avocado...
Just for the dryer to be accompanied by a decontinented Whirlpool, then it be replaced by a White-Westinghouse dryer that was paired with a series of Whirlpools, one, after the other, until finally a Whirlpool dryer to be placed with the final Whirlpool washer (& a matched set, despite being about a year apart!)...
A lot of line-drying must have contributed to any one dryer's longevity, vs. a family of five (one member, deceased, another, married & gone) reducing it to three, still needing a new washer that frequently, even so...
Then, a discarded white washer like that one, placed on its side, with the top of it removed & plopped next to it, seen decades later...
Maybe the relatives in Ohio, whose house we'd used to go to that had the similar floor plan ours had, plus a bedroom door leading to the basement stairs, had this set, also in Copper, to accompany the Copper kitchen appliances, (one a RotoRack Kenmore dishwasher, like the other neighbors across the street) I can only imagine or just visualize...
