or whatever the different mfrs called that color in vintage appliances ended being available around the mid '60s, and in my experience it's a fairly rare color compared to coppertone and turquoise. We had a '58 GE range in that color and now wish that we had kept it, haven't seen another in the 7-8 years since we parted with it. It's an attractive color, best of luck!

Unfortunately, Davenport, IA is more than 300 miles, but there's this lovely yellow GE stove:

These are also in Knoxville, but I can't tell if this is Harvest Gold or not. They don't appear to have the darker edge that are in Lawrence's pictures.

That first stove is fabulous! As far as painting is concerned, we had the fridge painted, but I’m concerned about how well paint will hold up under heat and a stove gets a lot more abuse than a refrigerator (scratches). I sold a yellow GE stove about 10 or more years ago, but it was a bol and only one oven. |

I’m pretty sure the Knoxville stove and fridge are harvest gold since my folks had that exact same harvest gold refrigerator back in the late ‘70’s/ early 80’s when I was in High School. Lol. BTW how are you finding these, I have been combing Knoxville Craigslist for 2 months. I must be missing a code word. |
