Happy Labor day weekend everyone! Helen and I are in Crossville, TN visiting her family and I'm also getting some quality time with her 1983 Whirlpool. It seems that I added a little too much Tide and caused a MAJOR sudslock. Oh dear! Well, one thing to do... Run another cycle and hope it clears up.

Nothing more relaxing than the "woowoowoo" of a BD Whirlpool/Kenmore. THE BEST in my opinion. So what it doesn't spin very fast, WP rocks!

Happy LD weekend right back at you, Jason & Helen! Ah, BD WP/KM's and suds-locking----the two went together like beer and pretzels.

I *can* get the F&P "suds-locked" (meaning the pump goes to cavitating) during EcoActive, but not during spin.

The 1962 Whirlpool --- just about every time!

It hsa come to the point that I dont ever see anything older than early 1990s here in charleston. So a 1983 whirlpool sounds pretty good jason.I really like the old whirlys too. don

AND guess what Helen's Mom's got?

A late 80s GE Filter-Flo.

I married into a vintage washer family.
