If it was any more free, it might be crushed. Sad!

The agitator alone is worth the pickup for when that pre '66 Bakelite agitator explodes during the removal process.

Looks like a Maytag A106 and DG306 set. DG306 dryers must not be that common, and the DG306 must work well since it has timed drying only, and there isn’t much to go wrong on the DE/DG306 dryers since they were entry level HOH dryers, and they had less wiring compared to the 606/806 and 906 dryers

It was flung-off of a truck during a high-speed chase. Severe moving trauma.

These might be in great condition inside and may be great parts donors, the dryer will be a rusty mess from the pilot burning for 40+ years though.

Sadly for Free they will probably just get scraped by a scraper.

These are pretty much identical to the Maytags in the POD thread I created, but the look like they are from the late 60’s, but I could be wrong though

Same set

Same washer & dryer my grandmother had and washed hundreds of load of farm clothes with. She would roll over in her grave if she thought anyone had abused her set that badly! i can still hear the snap when she pushed those water level and temperature buttons! My great-grandfather bought them for her just before he passed as they wanted to "upgrade" from a set of slant front westinghouses. And yes, she also had a huge hotpoint stove, a 60s Frigidaire frig, oven and range, and a Westinghouse pull-out dishwasher. A treasure trove if they were all around today.
