I happen to own a Leonard stove, small apartment sized electric range. It’s in incredible condition given its age. I don’t know much about it, was hoping to find some insight and possibly sell it. I’m assuming it may have been made in the 50’s?

Anyone know what this may be worth? It works very well.

Be gentle, I’m new. :)

The styling is very similar to that of the mid 50's Kelvinator ranges. Leonard was a division of that company.

Yes it's identical to Kelvinators other than the name across the front .. I think I recall Phil saying something about Leonards being sold at utility/hydro company stores, maybe that was just in Quebec.. don't quote me on that though.

For a basic 20" apartment stove, it's unusually attractive and well-appointed.  I would say it's a later '50s vintage.  In the proper hands it will hold up longer than any such stove made today, but not if it ends up in the average rental scene.

The right buyer could pay $100 or possibly more for it.  The supply of vintage appliances has taken a dramatic nosedive over the past decade, which saw countless former boomer households liquidated and/or their MCM kitchen and laundry facilities gutted per HGTV's cookie cutter examples.  The party's over, but just the same, don't plan on this stove financing your dream Hawaiian vacation.

Canada has always had higher-featured narrow stoves than the US does.
