The barber shop I went to from the time I was in 6th grade until I got out of school had one of these. However, it was Pepsi products instead of Coke. I would usually get Mountain Dew.

The first beauty shop I worked at when I got my license had one just like this one, but was a Pepsi machine, like Tom’s barber shop’s cooler. It was one of my job’s, as low man on the totem pole, to restock the cooler, and stack the empies racks for the Pepsi driver to pickup when he delivered a fresh batch. The machine was stocked with the big 12oz. bottles, each 15 cents, in 1970.
