I bought this machine hoping for an easy fix but it has so far confounded me. The dryer was packed with lint when I got it, so I throughly cleaned it up and tested all components for continuity, no issues. I hooked it up to gas and nada, no heat. Machine runs as it should in all cycles, with exception of air dry, which is dead.
Could that keep the other working cycles from kicking on the burner?
Or maybe I missed something...

open completely up....and check to make sure EVERYTHING is plugged in and attached securely....

had this once from a Kenmore gas dryer.....no power to the right lower side, for burner or igniter....

one tiny terminal on one of the sensors in the exhaust was not snug.....crimped for a better grip...and all worked since then...

if anything, then check the thermal fuses....

keep us posted

Inside of timer...no sign of arcing.

There won't be much arcing on a gas dryer, the timer is thew only reason that it would not run on the air cycle but will run on the other cycles.

John is right, these timers go bad so often I started stocking some of them.
