MIL has one similar and hubby says he was little when she got it so maybe around 1980?  Hers isn't a free arm but otherwise the same.

Made by the White sewing machine company, All Sears machines were as good as anything on the market.

All White

Machines were Japanese made after the late 50s The quit US manufacturing then.

my wife got this exact machine around 1976, and has used it for 43 years 3 kids, made some of their clothes and hers, as well as sewing repairs, even did some quilting work. It's been an excellent reliable performer, the Toyota of sewing machines?
