A post about the new LG FL washers came across my news feed the other day, don't recall seeing any info posted here.  Apparently it uses 5 jets to super power the turbo wash.  Looks interesting.  If I was in the market it would be one of my top choices, along with Electrolux.

I would buy one, BUT...

The Kenmore machines have an Auto Soak feature that works for 30 minutes, then starts the washing process using the same water. That is a more valuable feature for me!

The 30 minute (or less) cycle isn't anything new. The older machines with Turbowash have done that as well. The extra jets will be nice, on larger loads the jets often get blocked.

I've always wondered that myself. I'd like to see how it works on the default cotton/normal cycle with turbo wash active. I can't wait until Eugene from Lorain Furniture gets it so he can show us how it works.

Having lived with two Kenmore 41072s in both houses, I can certainly attest to how awesome LG machines are.

They've appeared in the UK now too...

Also sounds like they've added fabric sensing to Mixed Fabrics, Easy Care and Cotton cycles called aiDD or Intello DD.
