Going cheap.

Don't let it get away.

Just ask the lady who owns one! *LOL*

Wow, in today's money that would be $1,122.14 in Canadian dollars. I think a wringer washer would be a better bargain.

Hoover TT Fill Hose

When got mine many years ago now the hose lasted < one year. It was that brittle and hard that with just very light use the thing snapped apart where it connected to faucet. No huge deal as have plenty of washing machine hoses lying about spare, so just use one of those instead.

As with wringer washers or even using tubs it isn't really that important IMHO to have a Hoover or whatever original manufacturer hose. Well not for the early models anyway. If one has the later units with automatic rinsing or whatever, then yes can see wanting or needed a proper hose.

Besides the original Hoover TT hose wasn't that long, so unless you've got the washer within close distance to sink it was of limited use.

You can watch eBay or other sources for NOS Hoover TT fill hoses as they occasionally pop up. But you'll likely pay dearly (including shipping) for what you're getting. That and considering those hoses haven't been made new in > 30 years any NOS might be just as hard/brittle from lying about spare.

No, have never painted my Hoover TT

Then again it has never needed it, nor have had the inclination. *LOL*

Personally think your Hoover is streets ahead of those Asian impeller twin tubs, but that is just Moi.

Only thing would consider trading a Hoover TT for would be one of those Speed Queen TTs. But now since have the Maytag wringer that is off the boards as well.
