HI all, I just received an email from a guy in Massachusetts who has an ABC wringer washer that has never been used and has the original users manual, a box of Calgon and the original stickers and a covering on one of the wringer rolls from the factory. What is this worth and how would I get it home to Illinois, 35 miles from where this machine was manufactured? thanks, Gary

Gary, YouShip is probably your best bet to find transport. As for the worth of the machine, has the seller mentioned anything about price to you? Bear in mind that many years of sitting idle can be hard on hoses and wiring (literally, they could be dried up and brittle...) By all means, get as many pictures as you can before making any offers.

Vintage appliances are worth what one will pay.

Much will depend if you intend to have this washer for show or go.

For latter keep in mind even NIB washers that have sat sitting for decades may have issues which need attending to, otherwise one has a very beautiful ornament only. Spare parts are HTF if not existent so may require putting on one's thinking cap to resolve any issues.

Agree with above suggestion that U-Ship probably is the most economical and practical transport option. You can see if Craters and Freighters has a franchise in area where washer is located, but you'll pay dearly if experience is any guide.

Photos are also good to have, in case anything unfortunate happens during shipping.
