I just arrived in Japan for vacation and came across this small 24 hour laundromat. I snapped a few pictures. It had two top loaders, three front loaders, and four dryers. It had a tiny sink and a screen where you could pay. One of the two top loaders was in use. I don’t know what it was doing exactly since I didn’t want to open it, but it sounded like it was really scrubbing the clothes with gusto.

I enjoyed those. I'll bet it was clean and tidy too. |

Thanks for thinking of us, Joe! Not often that we get to see a Japanese laundromat. Very splashy/colorful. Although they've been used for decades over there, it's always a bit startling to see impeller-based top loaders in a laundromat.
Enjoy your trip! I'm lucky to get as far as Minneapolis (about 140 miles) occasionally these days, LOL. |

I love the bright colors. What a fun little place to do laundry. |
