Roper

These came in both gas and electric models. My Aunt Julie had the Kenmore version (electric), and said it was a sorry excuse for a stove.

Dave had the Kenmore version when he was newly married.  It was avocado, I think.  Their kitchen was tight so the pull-out cooking surface made sense.

I like Frigidaire's Flair oven door design the best.  Double doors on ovens are not my thing.

Hi Thom, your aunt was a wise woman.

Yes these roper built Hilow ranges were on the cheap side, by far the best of the high oven ranges were they Hotpoints followed by the Westinghouse or GE‘s, the Frigidaire flair models seem to be the most Popular ones but have far too many wiring and electrical component problems plus they have the nasty thick burners that just never really stay flat and transfer heat well.

As much as I like Frigidaires

John is right The Hotpoint Hallmark is by far the best of these The ventilation system on them is really great, Personally I would like the Westinghouse Continental, just because I like my current 59 Westinghouse stove so well.
