I wonder why they got rid of the 2 tube surface units or if they just put the plates on them. The switches give 7 heats and are great, but the ovens do not bake with top heat. Louis, these originally had two tube surface units. I saw one at an estate sale and it was da bomb! | ||

I could be wrong, but I think those are just covers that you can put on coil elements to cook on. Not sure what purpose other than they supposedly allow more even heating. The link is just one I found while doing a search. CLICK HERE TO GO TO fan-of-fans's LINK | ||
