Just picked up a 1950s Kenmore fan.
Would you know who made it?
Birtman?

Good question!

That looks like a Kenmore fan Nate had last time I visited him.  It could move some serious air and was pretty loud on full speed.

I'm wondering who made my Kenmore fan as well.  It's a multi-directional circulator, so standing directly in front of it doesn't blow you off your feet, and it's really quiet.  I wonder if the noise level has anything to do with the shape of the blades.  I removed the legs so I could place the fan in a window.  At our old place, you could feel the cool air at the bottom of the stairs when the fan was operating in an upstairs bedroom window.

I think Penney's put their badge on the same type of fan that I have, IIRC from a picture Sam posted some time ago.

Westinghouse

I think Westinghouse made many fans for Sears in the 1950's and early 1960's.

Blade structure looks like a Homart design (Sears).

Second one is Signal (Vernco). First one I don't know off hand. The AFCA could tell you for sure.
