Per the ad:

"Bought those a few years ago at an estate sale and they had been in storage and never used. They are in amazing condition and will last for many years. Pickup only in the Troutman area."

Interesting set.  The dryer apparently has a fully-variable temp control, which per my recollection is rare on Kenmore.

I always found it odd that Kenmore tagged the final spin in Perm Press (low speed) for the "Spin Only" selection.

"...they had been in storage and never used...."

Gives us a money shot of that dryer drum and we'll be the judge of that.

Dan, I had to check the ad too re: "never used."  It sounds like these have been in use -- for only the past "few years."  Good thing if that's true, considering the water temperature setting.

These are good machines that will last 20+ years with little or no trouble, and if they really are in lightly used condition, are worth what they're asking.

I helped my mom pick out a machine with the same console shape.  It was from higher up in the model line and had its (four) selector knobs mounted on the slanted fake brushed aluminum area across the top of the console.  The timer knob was down below by itself.

"never used" usually means "I never used it since I got it"... And we all know what storage can do to appliances, especially if exposed to freezing temperatures and critters!

I think Gordon has, or wanted, a set like that.
