Hmm might have an interesting leniage! Looking at the position of the pump access flap, I wonder if it is derived from the earlier Haier XQG50-11 which in turn is based on the 1990s Indesit Omega line (from the former Italian Merloni Elettrodomestici/Indesit Company which is now part of Whirlpool). | ||

Yep, washer dryers take too long. But for overnight operation, eventually, they are very helpful. | ||

Water cooled condenser dryer
While in school our home economics suite of classrooms had a washing machine and dryer. Cannot recall make now, but dryer was a water cooled condenser.
Know this because one day volunteered to assist in laundering gym uniforms (things that were unclaimed from locker rooms were laundered and given to those who either forgot theirs or couldn't afford new), and watched teacher turning on the tap behind dryer. Found it odd and upon inquiring was told that was how the dryer operated. Teacher didn't like using the machine because of water use, and that she had no other choice "even during the drought). Home Eco suite of classrooms didn't allow for the dryer to be installed near a window. Nor does it seem as if the powers that be were going to allow for a vent hole to be made, so there you are. Sometimes wonder if that dryer is still there, it's been years but who knows. Am thinking it was either Maytag or Whirlpool. | ||
