Cook-a-riffic how could I not buy one. Perusing through Amazon a few weeks ago I ran across this automatic stir-fry / air fryer cooker by Gourmia and being it wasn't very expensive it magically appeared in my shopping cart. Happily enough it actually works quite well. Underneath the pan is a big heating element along with a fan that blows hot air up into the dome so it cooks from below and above. I've done a few stir frys in it and oven fries with successful results. The stirring paddle removes and you could grill on it though I won't be doing that, nor baking a cake in it as it supposedly can do also. It's sort of like a jumbo Tfal Acti-fry but you can adjust the time and temperatures, remove the stirring paddle etc. It's a bit on the big side so you need counterspace and a place to store it. I give it a 4.5 outta 5 and will probably continue to use it.. AND the hubby actually likes it.. he sautéed a bunch of onions and mushrooms in it the other day while he went back to work in the yard. That's worth a star or two.

I like kitchen gadgets like this, but cleaning them, not so much.

It's not difficult to clean. Both the pan and stirrer can go in the dishwasher if you want.. Surprisingly that plastic dome doesn't seem to be getting really dirty or greasy which is I think because the fan blows the hot air down over everything and out the back .
