In this case, the washer and dryer, although theoretically mates, are from different eras. The control panel paint color is different, they have different control knob & skirt styles, the washer has the chrome trim strip, etc. So a DE806 (and specifically an earlier DE806) might have been a better match for these as a pair. I bet they originally had a DE806, and it died, and was replaced by the DE808. | ||
