The Dryer is a DE808. Which would be more desirable.

... or equally desirable, or less desirable... just depends on what you are looking for!

In this case, the washer and dryer, although theoretically mates, are from different eras. The control panel paint color is different, they have different control knob & skirt styles, the washer has the chrome trim strip, etc. So a DE806 (and specifically an earlier DE806) might have been a better match for these as a pair.

I bet they originally had a DE806, and it died, and was replaced by the DE808.
