Gray Plastic Part ?

Not a detailed enough picture to tell for sure, it might be as Eugene suggested be from a 29" WP built dryer that goes between the side wall of the cabinet and rear balk-head to keep the cabinet from resonating and it also reduces the chance the cabinet will crush when it is shipped.

It could also be the plastic wiring harness retainer that is used to keep the machines wiring away from the moving parts of the machine.

It’s from a Whirlpool top filter dryer alright.
Exactly where it goes, or if there is more than one, or if all top Filter Whirlpools have them, I don’t know.
Somehow I have only run across one once. Must be often missing in old dryers and/or omitted in the newer ones.

So that’s where they go!
Was in to this Kenmore top filter and I finally saw the critters in situ.
